The Ness Wadia College of Commerce was inaugurated on 15th July 1969 in pune and is the leading college in india. the Ness Wadia College of Commerce is accrediated by NAAC with an 'A' grade. named after Sir Ness Wadia, (1873-1952), the renowned industrialist and philanthropist of his times. It offers various courses in M.Com, MCA, Diploma Courses, Ph.D. Programme. The mission statement of the college declares a stress on the overall development of its students and its faculty virtually vows by it. The student is left free to work for several student groups during the after-lecture hours. These are around twenty in number and always seen scheduling their activities round the year. Their areas of concern are varied and creative-theatre, debating, empowerment of women, community development, literature, religion, human rights, social reforms and books to name a few. BARTIThe college has entered into a collaborative agreement through its Competitive Examination Center with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute, Govt. of Maharashtra. Under this agreement, the college will conduct a-month Part Time Course for coaching the students for the Clerical Cadre of the nationalized banks. The first of these courses was conducted from 30May 2013 to 30August 2013. The selected students in the reservation category are given free coaching with a stipend of Rs 3000.
